Avalanches in the Sertig Valley in February 2003

		Lawine, die im Februar 2003 vom Leidbachhorn ins obere Sertigtal niederging. Auf der in Fliessrichtung linken Seite des Lawinenzuges lässt sich die lange Anrisslinie klar erkennen. Man beachte ausserdem die weit hinauf reichenden Fliessspuren in den Aussenseiten der Biegungen und die wenig tiefe, über eine grosse Fläche verteilte Ablagerung. Die auf der ansonsten homogenen, feinkörnigen Ablagerung verteilten Schneeklumpen sind ein charakteristisches Merkmal von Trockenschneelawinen, die sowohl einen Fliess- wie einen Staubanteil besitzen. Kleines Schneebrett, das im Februar 2003 gerade oberhalb der Langlaufloipe im Sertigtal niederging. Die Anrissfläche steht annähernd senkrecht auf der Gleitfläche.
